I’m Miranda van der Hoeven, Attorney-at-law and admitted to the bar of the Common Court of Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten and of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. I have over 20 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer. My previous occupations were at KPMG, DCTL and at VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne. I act as adviser for local and international public and privately-held corporate clients.
My role includes providing legal corporate advisory services and transaction-related legal advisory professional services to clients in the Banking and Finance Industry as well as to clients in other industries such as Real Estate, IT and Commercial Retail.
Amongst my practice areas are corporate law, corporate and financial regulatory framework, and civil law matters regarding business operations. I’ve obtained my master’s degree in Dutch law at Erasmus University in The Netherlands. I am a Member of the Curaçao Bar Association, the Antillean Legal Professionals Association and of the Permanent Committee on Corporate Law of the Ministry of Justice of Curaçao.
